Jittery Junco Coffee Shop: The People

Jittery Junco Coffee Shop, Hallelujah Azul
.
I have now been a resident of Hallelujah for two months and have been thoroughly enjoying this community. The Jittery Junco Coffee Shop is my favorite place to hang out. I have created a gallery of the people that I have encountered there over these two months. There are some old friends and acquaintences in the gallery as well as so many new ones. I hope you like it.

Sasha

Sasha Bazilinski
.
Sasha Bazilinski is a very dear friend. I always reserve a special place in my affections for people who befriended me early in my Second Life. She had been away for a while, and I missed her dearly. But now she is back and happily has made Hallelujah her home. Sasha loves coffee house discussions and often displays a tart sense of humor. But, at heart, Sasha is really sweet (she is all cupcakes and ice cream cones), and she possesses the expressive soul of an artist, which she is.

Sasha's Art Gallery
.
Recently, Sasha brought a sample of her artistic works to Second Life, and a number of us visited her gallery to view them. On display was whimsy and provocation. I was initially drawn to a grouping of cutely imagined little girls. On the surface, they were great fun; however on closer inspection one notices the darkness in the broken dolls and in the cradled bird (deceased) that was obscured by the light of cuteness. There is something definitely unsettling about these little darlings. I wouldn't turn my back to them. My favorite work in the gallery is a wonderful snail posing provocatively naked without her shell. The pose, the eyes, the nose and the smile, I recognized in Goya's The Naked Maja. Fantastic homage. Its a wonderful collection, Sasha. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Tub Talk - Why does my monkey have that silly smile on his face?
.

I went club hopping with Jay and Victoria. Jaysun found this club in search, and we checked it out. There was a private party going on there, and they invited us to join them. We were having a enjoyable time ...the music and dancing were great ... and then the party goers began stripping off all their clothes ...
.

We retreated to Judy Blues - one of the best dance clubs around.
.

Smidget and I visit Japan Chubu, a wonderfully picturesque sim. This Japanese themed homestead is well worth a visit.

What is Smidge staring at? Could it be that coital couple in the Chevy convertible? How that car got in the middle of a lilly covered lake in 18th century Japan, I'll never know. I asked the couple; but they were too busy with each other.

After the Black Tie Gala at the Frank Lloyd Wright Museum, Jaysun and I went to a live performance by guitarist Joaquin Gustav. Still wearing our formals, we made a dashing looking couple doncha think?

Later my sister Victoria joined us at a jazz and swing club.

Ending the evening at the Jittery Junco. I just love this outfit.

Recalled to Life

Reports of Eulalie Helendale's demise were premature. She is back in the world of the living. Was her inventory much too valuable? Or is there something sinister lurking behind the scene? Keep an eye on her.
